Family & Children Services

Family & Children Services (F&CS), a private, nonprofit organization, has supported children, youth, adults, and families in becoming stronger, safer, and more self-sufficient since 1948.

Each year more than 7,000 clients participate in our mental health, family support, on-campus, family violence and abuse, and substance abuse treatment services. We serve clients in both San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. F&CS also provides intensive support and educational services for youth 16-21 years old as they transition out of foster care and into independence in Santa Clara County.

We offer high quality, culturally-competent services in more than five languages, including American Sign Language, at more than 100 locations convenient to where clients live, work, and attend school.

Whether we are teaching essential parenting skills, counseling students struggling with anxiety, or helping a youth learn to make healthy choices, we work to strengthen individuals, families, and the communities in which they live. Learn more by visiting www.fcservices.org.
